In 2001, a planet known as Promethias finally lost a long waging war with the Thrombian Regime. A young warrior named Ryden and his intellegent spaceship, the Promethenon flee to Earth to find the missing Heir of the Promethian King. The Thrombian Regime, a society of space dwelling monsters who conquer planets for fun, is hot on his trail. He crashlands on Earth in the city of Las Luces, California.
Meanwhile, we are introduced to Selena Vega, Marcy Sharpe, Simon Creed and Quenton Albreicht. These four teenagers attend Las Luces East High School, a specialized school for students to study the peforming arts. They, also, all live near the undeveloped edges of Las Luces. As they prepare to head to school one day, they see a spaceship fall from the sky and crash land in the forests at the edge of the city. They run to ivestigate and discover Ryden and his mission. They then learn that Quen and his Grandfather are also from Promethias and protect the Heir, whose identity they refuse to reveal.
With the Thrombians having followed Ryden, they took up orbit around Earth and sent one of their Lieutenants to seek out Ryden and the Heir. Ryden reluctantly allows the four other teenagers to join him in his battle against the alien by introducing them to the newly developed Morphing Technology. Morphers called Lighters turned them into Power Rangers.
After defeating the Thrombian Lietentant, the four teens refused to give back the technology and instead pledge to help a still very reluctant Ryden in his mission to protect the Heir.
Kyser Albreicht acts as advisor to the team, while Ryden begins training them in the way of Promethian soldiers. In return, they enroll him in East High so that he can learn about and appreciate the home that is now the Kysers' and the Heir's. Ryden does learn to apprecate Earth and its people, and with no family of his own left, the defeat of the Thrombians, the freeing of Promethias, he continues to live on Earth and protect the Heir along with his new friends.

A young warrior from Promethias. His father was a high ranking military officer. Ryden has been training to join the military since a very young age. He' very quiet and stoic. He comes off hardboiled at first, but eventually warms up to his team mates, his new school and Earth.

A sweet, talented girl into cheerleading and singing. She has a strong sense of justice. Even though she knew no martial arts at all, she still wanted to help Ryden protect the Promethian Heir. Often acts as a peacemaker or balancer for their contentious team.

History:
Raised by her Marine father, Selena was trained in martial arts and taken on survival camping trips. However, she's just a girl. She's a bit introverted when it comes to showing off her talents, sicking to choreography and chorus. Nonetheless, she was also willing to help Ryden and protect the Heir.

History:
Vale is the youngest son of the Promethian King and inheritor of the Sword of Solace which allows him to become the Solace Guardian. He's captured and preseumed dead along with the rest of his family. When he escapes, he heads toward Earth in hopes of finding the Heir or the Promethenon or both. He brings with him the Requiem Zords, which he let's the Guardian Rangers use.

History:
The ruler of the Thrombian Regime. He stays in the Fortress Dome, the space-bound capital. He prefers to stay in his monster form, while his subordinates tend to shift into humanoids.

Name: Szozin
History:
Zukat's hot-headed son. He was in charge of the conquering of Promethias and takes it as a personal affront that Ryden got away with the Promethenon and the technology contained inside.

Name: Rodam
History:
An elite, experienced warrior. Zukat's right-hand man. He prides himself on being a shrewd, clever tactician. Most, however, merely view him as the Emporer's Yes-man.

Name: Snyd
History:
A half-Thrombian soldier in the inner-circle of the Emperor's warriors. He has red skin and pointy ears that twitch when he's thinking or nervous. The others tend to look down on him for his inability to change forms, but he's often shrewd.

History:
The highest ranking female in the Thrombian Regime. She tends to be overconfident and tempermental.

Name: Yorgaz
History:
The Emperor's closet advisor. A tall, pointy-featured old man. Often reputed to be the true ruler of the Thrombian Regime.

The Thrombian Lietenants are in charge of excursions to earth. They each have 3 forms. Humanoid form, Thrombian (Monster) form, and giant. Her final form is irreversible and it is usually last resort. The Lieutenants pilot one-man aerospacecrafts called Battlewings. They also control the Footmen.

The footsoldiers of the Thrombian Regime. They dressed in black and had beady red eyes and veined heads. The veins on their heads were a weakness. They tended to disintigrate when pulled free. |
