Power Rangers QSO (Quasi-Stellar Orbs) takes place in 2020 and has us retrurning to Angel Grove. A mismatched group of aliens, humans, and non-terrestrials are assembled to to protect Earth and other worlds from evil. A syndicate from another galaxy is eying ours to power their war empire and their ability to bleed through time and space. Kit Ro, Neri Meridian, and Kamad Ravi have all faced this enemy and with the help of the QSOs and the mysterious Spyro, are able to stop their planets from having their living energy, Qiyu, harvested. When the Syndicate eyes Earth, and Spyro away on a differnt mission, they try to protect the planet themselves, but they weren't expecting such a powerful foe this time. A battle above the planet is fought to a draw and the trio must take shelter on the planet below.
Watching through a telescope is Topher Grant, who soon finds himself and a classmate, Laiken Thorpe, embroiled in the quest to protect the Galaxy. With more QSOs out there, more members are added to their team of space-faring Power Rangers.

History:
Topher is a bit of a nerd, but an optimistic one who had plenty of friends when he moved from Florida to Angel Grove, California. He's into space and the stars, and has a telescope. Ever since moving, he's had trouble fitting in, so his parents enrolled in the Watanabe Studio so he'd do something besides stair into his telescope all summer. But he doesn't really even fit in there and is really the bottom of his class. One night while looking through his telescope, he sees a battle in the sky and his life is changed forever. |

History:
Born and raised on Shogunatta, she's been training to be a ninja her entire life. Two years ago, she got turned into an evil fox-demon and tried to help a band of Space Ninjas conquer Earth, and beyond. Once she was returned to normal, she and her parents returned to Shogunatta. When the Syndicate attacked, they were unaware and ill-prepared for how well guarded the tiny desert world was. Seeing her chnace at penance, Kit became the first Q Ranger when Spyro arrived to help. |

History:
Ravi is a Tauron from the planet Mynos. He tries to be an even-keeled, zen guy. He doesn't eat meat or other animal products. As a Tauron, Ravi is able to go into a beserk mode, a rage. His physicality changes, becoming a minotaur like being complete with bull's head and horns. This mode is wild and nearly uncontrollable, so his people practice meditation and a type of kick-boxing style martial arts called Taur Chi in order to keep this part of themselves under control. His suit taps into this but at a manageable level. Unfortunately, Ravi is a bit of a hothead, for his people anyway, and got into trouble when the Syndicate tried to invade his world. He went into a beserk rage when others fled. Only Spyro and the Taurus Orb calmed him down eough to be useful. He was the second Ranger to join the team. |

History:
A girl from a world of oceans. She's quiet and inquisitive, but formidable when need be. Her world has its own problems, but is a largely peaceful and matriarchal society. Amphibious, living both on the small islands that dot the planet and large domed underwater cities, Neri is capable of holding her breath for hours on end. She's also strong, and swims at incredible speeds. Though she's had no martial training, when the Syndicate comes for her world, she runs across their plot and tries to foil it. Spyro, Kit, and Ravi are able to save her but not her planet. She becomes a Ranger in order to gain enough strength to eventually free her people. Upon arriving on Earth she becomes enamoured with its oceans, but dismayed at how the humans are treating it. |

History:
Born into a diplomatic family, Laiken's father is a British diplomat and his mother is a Brazillian heiress. He was raised for a long time in the Brazillian rainforest, though he was once attacked by a wolf which left a scar near his eye and a nick through his eyebrow. Unknown to him, he was infected with an alien parasite that causes lupine attributes over several genrations or as they're called, werewolves. A few years ago, his family moved to Angel Grove when his father retired from diplomatic services to teach at AGU. He meets Topher by accident and learn they'll be going to school together, but through that fateful encounter he gets turned into a Power Ranger. |

History:
Arya was born on Caervinis in the early days of the Avefedarian attack on her homeworld. She was just an infant when her brother and other children made their way across their world to SkyCrest, where the last of their people would be safe. She was born with a lame wing, and has had to use a brace all her life. When she was eight, the Avefedarians found their colony on Earth and attacked. After her brother was defeated and put into stasis, all the children were gathered up and put into stasis as well. She awakened 10k years later when the Dynamic Rangers found them. So she's lived the intervening years on Earth with humans and her brother. She can't fly but she's been learning Wind-jutsu first from Taylor and then from Lark. |

The regugees end up in a quiet mountain town in New Zealand. Jules grew up with the Ruaaon children. She's cute and sassy and likes running track and doing gymnastics. |

History:
Spyro comes from a galaxy far, far away that has been already been conquered by the Syndicate. It's worlds are nearly dead, as are its people. Any other origins remain a mystery. When he learns that the Syndicate is able to bleed through time and space and has their eye on another life-rich galaxy, he feels he has to do something about it. He travels to the Milky Way in order to find a way to help its people. In do so he discovers the existance og the QSOs and tries to use them, with only moderate success, until he begins recruiting young people on worlds where the Syndicate is trying to conquer. On the surface ihe's somewhat quirky, a bit silly, and over the top, but who knows what goes on beneath the surface? |
