Topher Grant is a recent transplant to Angel Grove. Unaware of it's rich history, he spends most of his time star gazing. One night he sees something unusual in the skies over his new home. When he tries to find out more about the space battle, he hits a roadblock. Inexplicably, however, on a camping trip with his new friend, Laiken Thorpe, the two teens become embroiled in a battle not only for Earth but the galaxy as they know it. They team up with a ninja from another planet, a naiad from space, and a peaceful powerhouse to use the power of the Quasi-Stellar Orbs and become Power Rangers.

Before Topher Grant could digest the fact that he and his new friend had become Power Rangers, he was just beginning to scratch the surface if Angel Grove's history and what their new enemy is up to. But he wasn't to be given the chance to process. An alien ship descends on the city, luckily Topher has met up with a pair of alien cousins and they battle against the enemy. Meanwhile, the other Rangers are ambushed by Scourge and meet Eriodore, a high ranking member of the Syndicate. Can the Rangers could through the other side of this fierce battle with new allies?
