History:
Born and raised in Angel Grove, Tai is half Japanese, half Irish. He had a slightly out of the ordinary upbringing, learning Bushido, swordplay and weaponsmithing at his Grandpa's knee since the death of his parents at a young age. When he was 18, he was shocked to have been chosen as a Power Ranger. Donning Red spandex for two years he was the unequivacol Leader Boy and ulimately lead his team to victory before retiring. Inactive for four years, he barely hesitated to don the Red again and face the new threat of the Gedoushu. During his adventures as the Red Samurai Ranger he's had his soul stolen, been poisoned and found out harrowing truths about his Shiba ancestors. He fought a powerful fallen warrior called Juzou who stole his thought dead sister as new born baby after his parents car crash. He's taken her into his home and heart as if she'd always been there and was slowly getting to know her. He recently celebrated his 23rd birthday and asked Lani to marry him. He was determined to end the threat the Gedoushu of the Sanzu River posed so that he and his team could move on with their lives.

History:
Lokelani is not a native of Angel Grove, but she moved there when she was young. Being half Hawaiian and half Korean makes her feel unique. She was raised in a family of men. She has three older brothers and she was trained right along with them in Korean martial arts, especially Tae Kwon Do. She has always been interested in weapons, especially swords. When she was 17, she became Tai's partner as a Red Alpha Power Ranger. She eventually won his heart. Four years after retiring, when asked by her now boyfriend to become the Pink Samurai Ranger, she readily agreed. Being Pink Samurai Ranger has been an experience she'll never forget. De facto second in command in the rare times Tai was unavailable she would take over the team. She had to reveal her and Tai's identities to her oldest brother, but he's proving he can keep a secret. During her tenure, she's also discovered a startling revelation about the Pink Samurai powers of the past. Ai Shiraishi betrayed her Clan and Lord to become the Gedoushu known as Dayuu. She's doing her best to redeem the position of Vassal of Heaven. She also finally got engaged to Tai.

History:
Born and raised in Japan, in a house just outside Tokyo, Daiki was in training from birth to become a Samurai. Neither he nor his older brother remember their mother and their father was a hard man. When Daiki was twelve his brother left to pursue a different path, leaving Daiki to deal with the old man alone. When he finished high school he was sent to live with Lord Takeru and served as his retainer until his death. He now serves Tai just as faithfully. His path as the Blue Samurai has led on paths he never thought to tread. Made to instruct the youngest of the Bushido Studio's students, he began to learn the patience he sorely lacked with the foibles of others. He began to learn valuable life lessons neither his father nor Lord Takeru bothered with. He ran into his older brother again and eventually forgave him for leaving him to his father and pursuing the path of a Water Ninja. He even began to learn the basic principles himself. He was stalked for quite some time by the mysterious ward of the Gedoushu called Juzou. After defeating her in the duel she demanded he made her his student, not only of Bushido but also the schooling she sorely lacked due to her unusual upbringing.

History:
Kiari is the youngest daughter in a family of over acheiving sisters. She feels slightly inadequate when compared to them. She was the only one forced to learn Bushido and excelled at it but she doesn't realize. She lived most of her life with her grandfather, the 17th Lord Shiba. She is Tai's second cousin on his grandmother's side. When her grandfather died and she found out there was a new Lord Shiba, she readily volunteered her services and has come to love and respect her leader and her cousin much more than her grandfather. Since moving to Angel Grove she's begun to come out of her shell. She'll always be the quiet and shy sort but she will no longer be cowed by anyone. She even revealed her dream to be a published managaka to Kane and the others. With the influence of Kane and Rena, she was coming into her own person and not just the unwanted daughter or the Vassal of Earth to the Lord Shiba.

History:
Kane is the only son of the evil Space Ninja Lothor and his estranged wife Leatrix. After Lothor's failed attempts at destroying the Wind Ninja Academy and ruling the world, Kane came to live with his Uncle Kanoi at the Academy and eventually began to learn Ninjutsu, Earth Techniques being his strong suit. He also secretly idolized his cousin Cam and began to learn Bushido from him. When he was 18 his best friends became Power Rangers and he felt slightly left out until Cam intrusted to became the Green Samurai Ranger. Once the threat to his home and happiness was over, he retired and began helping Sensei Dustin with younger students at the Academy until he was asked for help by Tai, who was his second cousin on his grandfather's side. He now faithfully served Tai as a retainer. While he treated his previous time as a Green Samurai Ranger as a lark, even he can that his time as Tai's Vassal of Wood has made him grow up a bit. His majot accomplishment was coming face to face with the father he hadn't seen since he was a kid. He feels he has more focus now and goals of his own. Falling for Kiari was only icing on the cake. He's by means less over the top or sarcastic, but it's tempered with a growing sense of responsibilty and self. He was afraid if things kept going as they were he'd be a respectacle member of society...and he wouldn't even object to it.

History:
Rena always considered herself an ordinary girl. Born and raised in Angel Grove to the affluent and prolific Hart family, she neither stood out or got lost. She enjoyed a normal life. Though she only one older brother, Rex, she could have sworn it more like three when she counted their cousin Mason and Rex's best friend Tai. Though she excelled in gymnastics and loved singing and dancing, she never considered herself above or out of the ordinary. In fact, when she figured out that she was the only Hart of her generation who'd never been a Power Ranger, she felt a bit left out. However, she shared the same genes as Rex, and part of those genes were Eltarin and when Billie was developing the Gold Ranger Suit, Rena's special genes allowed her to become a Power Ranger herself. She now faithfully followed Tai as any of his other loyal retainers.

History:
Rex was born and raised in Angel Grove. A son of the affluent and prolific Hart family, he was an over acheiver and talented in sports, music and academics, eventually earning him the appelate 'Mr. Perfect' by his friends. When he was 18 in his senior year, things started going wrong for him until he became the male part of the Black Alpha Power Ranger team, with his best friend Tai as the leader. Thus began his journey to full his destiney. Eventually he passed his Black Ranger position to his cousin Mason and became the Platinum Ranger. After defeating the children of Rita Repulsa, he followed his girlfriend to Mirinoi and Terra Venture to become the Black Quasar Ranger in order to protect it. After Terra Venture he was called to complete his Pai Zhua training and earn his master's stripes, however he ended up taking the mantle as the Black Bat Ranger. Unfortunately, when Tai called upon him, he was still doing that gig. But he joined Tai immediately afterwards and learned Billie had been planning something special for him and he became the Silver Samurai Ranger to protect the world from the Sanzu River.

History:
Saeko has a rather strange little tale to tell. She was actually born in Stone Canyon, California, a week or so ahead of schedule. As her excited parents were taking her home to Angel Grove to surprise her grandfather and big brother, they were in a car accident. Her parents died but little Lena and her car seat were somehow thrown free. She was discovered by the Gedou known as Juzo, a wandering soul always searching for a fight. She was raised unconventionally, roaming around the world. Juzo wasn't the best parent in the world, but she couldn't say she had an awful childhood. She barely learned to read and write in English but had a slightly better handle on Japanese. She was also conversational in other languages. She learned the way of the Samurai from a man who no longer followed the path himself. She soon adapted his need to find the best opponent for her. Unfortunately, while she had a raw talent, she was more than a little undisciplined, as Juzo wasn't as hard on her as perhaps he needed to be. She was probably better than the average swordsman, but her opponent turned out to no average swordsman. While her guardian fixated on the 18th Lord Shiba, Saeko decided to match her skills against Daiki Singuji. Little did she realize that his skills were only second to his Lord's and far outmatched hers. She lost the duel and her guardian. She became Daiki's student, later learned Juzo was once in fact Hiro Shiba, brother of the 9th Lord Shiba and once the White Vassal and he passed the legacy on to her. As she became the White Samurai Ranger, she also learned her true identity as Lena Stapleton.
